A Lullaby for the Universe

In May 2020 Yumiko Uda from Bunkapastel.com asked us if we would work on an animation for a poem by Shuntaro Tanikawa. She sent us a track with his voice and another one with the music composed and played by his son Kensaku Tanikawa.

We suggested we could animate one of my existing illustrations which I felt was perfect for the poem and seemed to have been inspired by Shimano Tanikawa´s beautiful words and voice, even though I had never heard them before.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
